Amazing tour!

This tour is the perfect way to get an overarching idea of the history of Bulgaria. It really helped put what you're seeing into context. Unfortunately, we arrived slightly late so we don't remember our guide's name (28th Morning tour) but he was brilliant - his story telling really brought the tour alive. We appreciated his anecdotes and thoughtful analysis of the events he was covering.

Our guide Dessi was fantastic. She was passionate about the history of Sofia . She was very easy to talk to and super helpful. She answered all our questions and she made the 2 hour walking tour, worthwhile. I would recommend this for anyone who’s looking to get some insights into the architecture and then explore on your own.

This was a very interesting and engaging tour made especially nice by our guide, Imo. He is very knowledgeable and has a nice sense of humor as well as pride in his city and his country. I highly recommend this and If I were staying longer, I would also take the communist tour to balance what I learned today.
