Amazing day

Firstly this is a really long day but don't let that put you off, it's really worth the effort. Picked up from Makadi Bay around 5.30am, in a modern and clean minibus, along with one other family. Our driver put his foot down but it always felt pretty safe and with a couple of toilet stops we arrived in Luxor around 9.30. Picking up our guide Liala, who was a great combination of friendly, knowledgeable and no nonsense (with any local hassle!). The tour clearly follows the itinerary, with all tickets provided. Hard to describe how impressive the tombs/temples are, each fantastic in a different way. The Nile boat trip was lovely (extra cost) and lunch was decent if not great. The visit to the alabaster factory was actually ok, their products do feel really good quality and the usual bartering was definitely a bit more low key. Laila was really helpful, buying drinks (plentiful free bottled water provided on the bus) and snacks on our behalf to prevent us paying tourist prices. We left for the return trip around 5.15pm and got back to the hotel around 8.30. Thanks to Laila and our driver for an absolutely brilliant day, that will live long in the memory.

All went as planned

All was according the plan. The pick-up, travel to Luxor, excursions, lunch and travel back. Tour guide Laila was amazing. She gave a lot of details on the history, architecture, and tips and tricks how to see major highlights in no time and how to behave in different situations. Her english was very good. We easily understood everything she said. Driver was very good also. Maybe it would be easier if driver speaks english better. He new just a major words and sometimes could not explain properly what is going on, e.g when we stopped for half an hour with no obvious reason on our way to Luxor. Lunch in Luxor was very good. Especially comparing to the trip to Cairo by the same agency. Nile bout tour was ok, but in my opinion way overpriced. Overall we were happy about our experience and highly recommend to take the trip.

Egyptian tombs

Booked this trip the day before was little worried when the coach was late but actually the trip was amazing the tour guide was knowledgable caring and attentive We had ackmed was very good guide and the whole day was very enjoyable There is a lot of walking involved and lots of stairs in the tombs but over all a great trip Take plenty of money you will need it for tips

We were travelling with Book Tour Egypt in November to Luxor. It was our second trip with them. The weather was perfect and the trip will be remembered for sure! Amazing tour guide, amazing places and the customer service was perfect! Easy to communicate and we got quick answers for all of our questions! We highly recommend them not only for Luxor but for any other trips.
