Overview

Rejuvenate your soul. This tour is for small group people. Those that want to find peace from the business of the National Parks. On this tour, you will see the amazing backdrop of the Grand Staircase National monument as you drive to see two slot canyons. One with a smashed truck and a 200-foot drop and one with amazing turns and water features. We will explore deeper into Willis Creek. We will explore as much as our 2 hours will permit. Wills Creek has a small creek running through it all year. It begins with beautiful waterfall features and continues to wind and twist with spectacular views. On this tour, we will walk approximately 1 1/2 mile through some rocky terrain.

Meeting points

Travel 8 miles South East from Bryce Canyon National Park on Hwy 12 to Cannonville. Take a right on Main Street and travel two blocks to Cannonville Park. It will be on your right. Your guide will meet you there. They will have a hat the says OCA on it.

Willis Creek Slot Canyon

Explore the slot canyons of the Grand staircase and ride to and from the canyons in a Can Am UTV during this adventure tour. Our guides drive you in the UTV, so you can sit back and enjoy this exciting off-road experience. Enjoy the moments as you ride on the remote roads of the Staircase to reach the canyons then wander around on foot to explore the deepest parts of these remote areas. Be sure to bring a camera for frame-worthy photos. Small group of just 5 people or fewer Driver-guide, UTV, and safety equipment included Learn about the local flora, fauna and history through guided commentary.

Part of the ride to Willis Creek. You will see a old vechicle smashed in the canyon and explore the edge of this deep gorge.

Great experience

Great experience. Jerry met us at a park in town and took us to the slot canyon explaining the area and what we were seeing along the way. We stopped at a couple of locations and were able to take pictures and get history of the area. Once in the slot canyon Jerry taught us how to use our phones to take amazing pictures of the canyon. Small group made for an amazing day.

Our guide, Jerald, was super knowledgable and passionate about this amazing place where he lives and incredibly generous in sharing his love and sense of stewardship with us on this tour. Because of this tour, I was able to visit places far off the main road that I would not have had access to otherwise and I am really grateful for that. His off road vehicle is super comfortable and he takes care of his clients very well. I look forward to him offering tours to other locations in the Grand Escalante.

We had so much fun! Willis Creek Creek Slot Canyon was the perfect 2 hr tour. It was just what we were looking for with our limited time in the area. Jerry was great, so imformative and knowledgeable about the area. He can take you places that you would either not know about or how to get there. Highly recommeded!

Great tour! Jerry is a wonderful tour guide. Very knowledgeable and informative about the area. Perfect 2 hour tour for our limited time in this beautiful area of UT. Jerry will take you to places you wouldn't know about let alone how to get there. Small group limited to 5, perfect for couples, family. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I (and 2 old weiner dogs) were driving from Oklahoma to California. I booked this last minute early Sunday morning tour because it was too hot for us to get out and hike safely by ourselves. BOY, were we in for a surprise! Jerry, the tour guide, was so accommodating! His family is from the area and he shared so much information. He was perfect at 'reading the room"...asking about what we wanted out of the tour, delving deeper into geology and anthropology when he noticed our interest. He treated our old dogs like they were his own! Jerry was funny and kind and well informed. We highly recommend Jerry and this tour! It's not a tour for avid hikers. If you've hiked the PCT or the AT this is probably not for you, but if you are traveling with Grandparents or young children or have disabilities or just want to relax, take your time to enjoy the beauty, and be educated then you can't find a better tour!
