The Sky to Fjord biking adventure offers you the opportunity to ride on one of the most spectacular roads in the world surrounded by a dramatic landscape of majestic mountains, gorgeous waterfalls and beautiful lakes.

Itinerary

We drive you up the mountain to Djupvatn Lake (1030 m above sea level). This is the starting point of your biking adventure! Our team will provide you with top-quality equipment, technical and safety instructions, and a lot of tips to enjoy the downhill bike at its best. On your way down you will cover a distance of 16 km and you will have the chance to stop in some of the most beautiful viewpoints of Norway: viewpoint at the foot of the Blåfjell mountain - Kvandalls waterfall - Opplenskedalen Valley - Knuten - and the most famous - Flydalsjuvet. Stop along the way, take some pictures and enjoy a breathtaking downhill bike ride.

Best excursion of our Norwegian cruise, by far!

This was an amazing excursion! The views we encountered on the ride down from the glacial lake at the top back down to the port were absolutely stunning. Excellent customer service. Could not recommend this enough!

Breathtaking views, lots of places to stop and take photos, we came from the cruise ship, just a short walk away and so much cheaper than booking with Cunard. Our trip was booked for 10am but they offered to move it to 1pm as it was very foggy. A must do !

I was hesitant to book this outside of the cruise line, but the cruise excursions sold out, so I took the chance. This worked out well and saved me money. The views are amazing! The drive up the mountain took about 45 minutes and we probably spent 90 coming back down with lots of stops for photos. Even though the road is steep and heavily trafficked, we were able to bike down without issue. minimal pedaling, lots of breaking. I suggest a raincoat, even if the weather looks nice, a hat, and gloves.

This experience was a blast! At 67 years old I was able to easily maneuver my way down the nearly 10 miles of roadway with the most incredible views of the fjord. Everything was well managed, and we will never forget the ride. It was also a great value.
