This shared tour is particularly recommended for those who love nature. It is unique due to the services and characteristics that it offers. It combines the navigation of Rio de la Plata and the beautiful Tigre River Delta in an excellent boat. The Tigre Delta Tour includes navigation through the beautiful Tigre River Delta in a Premium boat, choose between a 2-hour boat ride covering the North of Buenos Aires continuing through the 'Delta': a series of narrow channels and islands; or a 1-hour navigation by the beautiful previously mentioned Tigre's Delta. After arriving at Tigre have an optional Empandas snack in a local and elegant restaurant of the city continuing with Victorica Avenue: get to know the coastal walk that borders the Luján River to reach the elegant gardens that surround the headquarters of the Tigre Deliberative Council and the Tigre Art Museum.

Tigre Delta Tour Great Day Trip

The driver and tour guide Carolina did great job through entire trip. Very friendly and informative. Carolina gave group interesting facts and information all day. Trip started on boat in Puerto Madero. Great views on boat trip to Tigre Delta, especially on the narrow river. We had empanda lunch in Tigre that was good. Then we took bus back to Buenos Aries and made a few stops at key places of interest including a church in San Ysidro. Overall the trip was enjoyable day. Great way to see sites outside city. Caroline was very professional and excellent tour guide.

Super half day away fron city center

Carolina wa magnificent! Not only did she give great history of the Rio Plato, Buenos Aires seaport and Tigre, she answered numerous questions unrelated to the tour for many guests. Her enthusiasm was infectious.

Great Tour. Better People Running It.

Due to the Oceania Marina arriving in Buenos Aires late, we panicked to get to the pick up point. We were helped by great people at the Terminal Information desk. They located the driver and he came back for us. He took us directly to the tour boat actually arriving ahead of the van from the Sheraton Hotel meeting point. Great tour. Amazing insight on how people live on the river. Our guide Sabrina was wonderful. There was even a "surprise" excellent lunch that we weren't expecting. After lunch we boarded the Sheraton van that had come by another route and visited more sites. Back at the Sheraton, our great driver was there and took us back to the cruise terminal. Unbelievable service.

Wonderful trip

Our tour guide was Daniella. From the moment she met us at the Cruise Terminal she was excellent, one of the best. The tour was not quite what we expected. In the delta we thought it would be nature & wildlife. Yes we saw some but it was the stilt house lifestyle that we found interesting. Daniella kept us informed all the way. A 2 hour boat trip with refreshments then lunch of varied Empanadas. Followed by visit to local market & stops on way back to Buenos Aires. Highly recommend.

A great alternative to a day in Buenos Aires

We had a couple of days in Buenos Aires at the end of our cruise and decided to take this tour. We couldn't recommend it highly enough. Our tour guide was just marvellous and very knowledgeable as we first travelled through Buenos Aires city and on to the wharf where we travelled on a very comfortable boat along the River Plate and then into the fascinating Tigre Delta. At the end of our boat ride we were taken to a restaurant for a snack of delicious empanadas, and finally to the La Boca district for a wander around and a chance to do some shopping. All in all it was a most enjoyable and interesting day.
