Overview

Gansbaai is known as the great white shark capital of the world and is only a two-and-a-half hour scenic drive from Cape Town. It is here that we will make your dreams come true! The experienced crew will share their vast knowledge of the water world where they operate when they take you to view sharks from the surface or underwater from a cage. This marine wonderland is the closest place in the world where you can safely see these apex predators in their natural environment. Great White shark behaviour has been unpredictable since Orca predation in 2017. We work with various shark species, including Bronze Whaler and sevengill sharks.

Please note that we pick up from most Hermanus hotels or accommodations. Please specify where we should pick you up. If this is out of our way, we will provide a pickup spot that will work on our route. Please be ready at your pickup point at the time confirmed ... with you the day prior. Please note that travel time from Hermanus can take up to 1 hour one way. If you book the early timeslot for example (07:00) this is not your pickup time, but closer to the meeting time. The pickup time in Hermanus will for this example be around 06:00. You can take a nap on the way to Gansbaai and we will welcome you with warm coffee and breakfast.
