Overview

Santo Domingo is brimming with architectural and historical gems. You’ll discover the capital city’s highlights and its colonial zone by coach, train and foot on this sightseeing tour. Kick off at Independence Park before heading into the warren of the old town’s cobbled streets. You’ll see all the heritage sites dating back to the 15th century and visit the Gothic cathedral and Alcazar de Colon, which belonged to Christopher Columbus’s family. You’ll also enjoy a 4D cinema experience recounting a privateer sack of the city. Next, hop aboard a mini-train for a tour of the colonial zone.
