Itinerary

  • Ponte Maceira

Beautiful village in the vicinity of Santiago de Compostela. Its famous 14th century bridge over the Tambre river stands out. We will also see here an interesting set of mills of medieval origin and the town itself with its cobbled streets. All in the midst of an environment of surprising natural beauty.

    30 minutes

  • Fervenza de Ezaro

In the last stretch of the course of the Xallas River, it runs through the foothills of Monte Pindo, until it ends up plunging into the sea from about 40 meters high in what we know as Cascada del Ézaro. A unique show in Europe.

    30 minutes

  • Faro de Fisterra

Cape Finisterre, or Fisterra, is the place where ancient Greeks and Romans placed the End of the World. It is one of the most emblematic places in Galicia, which has given rise to all kinds of legends, in which religious, maritime and pagan elements are intertwined. Many of those who venture into the Camino de Santiago decide to extend their path precisely to this place, always considered a magical and mysterious place, traveling the 98 kilometers that separate Santiago de Compostela from Finisterre. From the surroundings of the Lighthouse of Fisterra we will observe impressive panoramic views of the Ría de Corcubión and the Carnota Coast, on which the granite complex of the O Pindo Mountains stands out.

    40 minutes

  • Fisterra

Famous fishing village. In the town of Finisterre we will have free time to enjoy Galician gastronomy, visit the fishing port and explore its charming alleys

    1 hour 30 minutes

  • Muxia

For many, the road and the experience extend to the town of Muxía, located a little further north of Finisterre, a spectacular place with an important cultural heritage The history of the town of Muxía is linked to the Sanctuary of the Boat raised at the foot of the sea and the surrounding stones; the “Pedra de Abalar”, the “Pedra dos Cadrís” and the Piedra del Timón. From the Sanctuary, a small path leads us to the summit of Monte Corpiño that offers magnificent views of the estuary and the Cabo Vilán, the beaches of Leis and Lago and Monte Facho.

A beautifully spent day

Published on Nov, 2024

Very good organization, excellent guide, small group of 15 people. Many interesting places and information. Thank you for a beautiful day.

More than we could have done on our own!

Mucus was the highlight with the big stones and waves crashing but we also enjoyed the other stops. The waterfall and granite rocks were also amazing.

Efficient way to see the coast

Published on Sep, 2024

Efficient tour of the coast. It’s a busy 9 hour day. You meet at Toxo tours office by 9am and walk about 5 mins to a big coach bus which holds 55 people. You have a guide (our was a nice young lady with brown hair in a bun) and a competent driver. The guide was very good at explaining directions and the trip. She spoke in Spanish and then in English. She kept everything on time and efficient which I appreciated. The tour goes to quite a few places so is a good value if you want to see a lot. You stop first in Muros a fishing town and have some time to walk around on your own. Then you go to a waterfall- I could have done without this stop to allow more time other places but it was on the way. You then go to Fisterra the end of the world stop. That’s a good stop. Then you go to the Fisterra town stop to eat lunch (on your own). Then you go to Muxia (I think the best stop) and finally a small old village. You are back at 6. A lot of stops but you see a lot. I would say an efficient way to see a lot and if you have an extra day in Santiago it’s worth doing it.

Such a worthwhile tour after walking the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.

Nago was our very energetic, helpful guide and we appreciated her narration as well as her leadership on site. I had visited Finisterre before, but learned so much about it and the other places on the tour. I also appreciated the expertise of our bus driver (name??) He had nerves of steel, driving on curvy, narrow roads.

Great Full-Day Getaway!

Published on Sep, 2024

Really enjoyed this full day tour! The price can’t be beat to see so many sites in one day. The lunch spot had the best and freshest seafood my husband and I have ever eaten. Really happy we booked this! It was a nice air conditioned coach, and my hubby enjoyed the naps between destinations, while I enjoyed getting some time to read. Perfect amount of time in each location wouldn’t change a thing.
