    We will visit the well-known Capilla de las Conchas, a church completely covered in scallop shells; located in a beautiful park and flanked by the old soap factory and the Gran Hotel de La Toja (the first spa hotel in Spain).

    We will make a catamaran route through the Ría de Arousa lasting about 75 minutes. Throughout it, we will be able to discover the ins and outs of scallop, oyster and mussel farming in the Galician estuaries, as we will stop at one of the innumerable rafts (shellfish farming platforms) where they will show us the process in situ, at the same time that we enjoy the marine fauna of the estuary thanks to the glass bottoms of the boat. During the entire journey we can eat ALL the mussels we want, freshly taken from the sea, and accompanied by top quality wine from the area, soft drinks, water and shots of pomace

Rias Baixas for the day with Ana

Our tour with Ana was absolutely fantastic, and I can’t recommend it enough! We started at the beautiful Lagar de Besada winery, where we tasted some of the finest local wines while learning about the winemaking process. Ana's passion for the region’s wine culture really added to the experience. Next, we headed to the stunning Miradoiro da Lanzada, where the breathtaking views over Rías Baixas left us speechless. Ana’s knowledge of the area’s history and geography made the stop even more special. Isla da Toxa was another highlight—such a picturesque place! We then boarded a boat for an unforgettable tour around the island, where we enjoyed a delicious wine and food tasting, featuring freshly caught mussels. The combination of the sea breeze, local wine, and seafood was simply perfect. Ana continued to guide us through O Grove and Combarro, two charming coastal towns with rich history and unique architecture. Every part of the day was well-organized, relaxing, and insightful. Ana’s enthusiasm, knowledge, and warm personality truly made this tour an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking to explore the beauty and flavors of Rías Baixas, this tour is a must!

A Spanish Adventure: Mussels, Wine, and Beautiful Moments

It was a wonderful journey. What I enjoyed most was the boat ride with unlimited mussels and wine. The trip was filled with a true Spanish vibe. I was a bit disappointed by the visit to the winery - I expected to be taken to where the grapes are grown, but it turned out to be more of a tasting room without any vineyards. But I still enjoyed it!

What a wonderfull trip, in Galicia. Everything was so nice, the winery, the boattrip, the small villages. Our guide Anna gave so much i fo in spanisb and english as well. What a great day!!

I really enjoyed this tour!! The landscapes/scenery of Combarro, Lanzada, and A Toxa was very beautiful. The boat trip was so fun. Actually I can’t eat seafood, so I asked the tour agency beforehand, and I brought ham and cheese, so that I could enjoyed the white wine there. And the winery and the wine tasting were great too. You can learn the specialness of the Albariño wine.(They give you the print of the explanation in English) Our guide was very kind and nice, and she explained equally in Spanish and English. She explained about the history profoundly. Personally I had trouble with visiting places by myself with trains(the frequency and availability of Renfe train caused me troubles), so I was very happy to visit many places efficiently and comfortably with this tour. With our tour, the lunch was in the free time(you choose where to have lunch). I recommend this tour!
