Everything was awesome. Our tour guide was very friendly and informative! He made me feel comfortable as a solo traveler and helped me celebrate my birthday! I was only in San Jose for 1 night and this tour was perfect to explore the city, meet great people, and learn about the culture and traditions. The food was delightful and the drinks we made were so good. I would 1000% recommend doing this!

Interesting and informative tour of central San Jose including the central market. Delicious hot chocolate and a history of chocolate in Costa Rica. The cocktails and food in the private house were delicious. The guide, Angel, was very knowledgeable and kind. I enjoyed this experience and it was a great way to end my trip to Costa Rica.

Very good fun and the dinner at the end was a great way to learn some local contails and meet some people. Keep in mind this does overlap quite a bit with the morning tour from the same operator.

Worth every penny!

What a lovely experience. I’m a solo female traveler and had an amazing time meeting other travelers and enjoying San Jose. The city does not have much to do, so I think this is the perfect thing to experience if you have some time in the city. You get a little taste of everything. I thought they offered a decent amount of alcohol, and a fair meal. Not as much food as I expected but still enough! Loved learning some history as well. If you’re considering— definitely go for it!
