Overview

Royal Liver Building 360 is a city landmark with a unique viewpoint and an immersive experiential tour. In the visitors' centre see unique pieces from the building archives and learn more about the building, its architect and Liverpool’s most famous residents, The Liver Birds. Join your guided tour to enjoy spectacular 360° views of the Liverpool skyline from the 15th floor viewing platform, experience an immersive Audio-Visual show inside the historic clock tower and learn all about Liverpool’s iconic landmark.

Itinerary

  • Royal Liver Building 360 Tour

    Start your tour in the presentation area and watch a brief safety video before learning about the original owners of the building, the Royal Liver Friendly Society as well as history of the building's creation. Hop in a lift to the first viewing platform and head out onto the 10th floor roof to behold views of the River Mersey towards the Welsh Mountains. Take photos from the highest external point granting you clear views of the Great George Liver Clocks. Head up 89 stairs to the 14th floor to partake in a 270 degree Audio Visual experience. Set behind the clockfaces of the West Tower the projection show utilizes a mixture of lights, sound, and 4D elements like wind machines that will give you a look back through time. Move on to the final destination as you ascend 35 stairs to the top of the Royal Liver Building and out onto the 15th floor. Admire the Liver Bird sculptures that sit atop of the building and enjoy breathtaking 360 degree views of the city.

A brilliant birthday gift

It was amazing. Shannon was an excellent guide. Very informative and I learned a couple of things I did not know about my home city. The weather was good so the views were exceptional. I have been on the Empire State Building Tour and I honestly think that this tour rivals it.

There are some steps to go up, our guide took it in stages so it wasn't too bad, so comfortable shoes needed.

Really enjoyed the tour. It took around an hour and our guide was excellent - very engaging and funny and able to tell us the history of the building very clearly. This is a great thing to do on a visit to Liverpool, and the views from the top are great.

Wow what an amazing experience Kiera was our guide and we booked the last slot of the day so just us 4 Very interesting and amazing views - we were lucky to have fab weather so the views and sunrise made it more special The history and inner workings were just incredible The video was awesome - i could have watched that over and over again Yes there are 130 steps but you hardly notice with the stops and chats along the way The steps are solid and its not claustrophobic at all Thanks Kiera hope our Aussie accents made your day
