Mandraki Harbour (Pass By)

Mandraki is one of the three harbours in Rhodes. It is famous, because it is believed that the great statue of Colossus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, once stood at the harbour entrance. Today the deer sculptures at the entrance, the St. Nicholas Fortress and a number of medieval windmills create a charming view of the harbour.
Village of Lindos

Lindos is one of the most impressive archaeological sites not only in Greece but also in the world. It has traces of different civilizations. Ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine traditions blend here with the Medieval heritage of knights of the Order of Saint John. The visit to Lindos is like time travel via centuries and civilizations! If you go there, you will be delighted not only by the history but also by divine beauty. Take your time strolling lovely narrow streets of the village abundantly decorated with flowers, fruit trees, oriental tiles and small fountains. Lindos Acropolis and Rhodes Old-Town, not to be missed

Highlights were Lindos Acropolis and walking tour of Rhodes Old town. Very accomplished guide. Climb to Acropolis was not as bad as predicted, most is through narrow streets but you need to be fairly agile for the Acropolis itself as the ground within is quite rocky, wear walking shoes.

The heat on the climb up to the Acropolis at Lindos was brutal! Our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. The tour of the walled city was very interesting.

During our August 2023 cruise, our family of three—two adults and a teenager—had the delightful opportunity to explore Rhodes. Our guide, Anastasia, was exceptional in every sense. She was relaxed, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and spoke fluent English. What set her apart was not just her engaging personality, but also her flexibility. The service she delivered was absolutely top-notch. Engaging a teenager can often be a difficult task, but Anastasia effortlessly captured our daughter's attention, ensuring that she too gained valuable insights from the tour. As for logistics, the transportation provided was immaculate, featuring comfortable air-conditioning. Our driver Nikos was both personable and accommodating. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone planning a trip to Rhodes.

A few days before our cruise, we received clear and detailed pick-up instructions via email and iMessage. This morning, everything unfolded precisely as described in the messages, ensuring a smooth experience. We were conveniently picked up right at the port, adjacent to our cruise ship. Our tour guide, Ioanna radiated passion and had an in-depth knowledge of Rhodes. The Acropolis of Lindos was the highlight; we captured amazing photos from this spot, with views that were simply breathtaking. Don't be deterred by the 300 steps. My husband has knee issues, but even he managed the climb without complaints. The pottery demonstration, along with the olive oil and honey tastings, were both fascinating and delectable. It was the best oil and honey we've ever tasted. Another highlight was our walk through the medieval city of Rhodes. We immersed ourselves in the city's history, enjoyed a wine tasting, and had about an hour of free time for shopping. The tour lasted approximately 7 hours and was the perfect way to make the most of our brief stop at the port. It genuinely captured the essence of Rhodes. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ioanna and her team for crafting such a memorable and warm experience.
