Overview

You can have a fun filled private tour with a local lad and some of his family (especially his Mum). I have researched lots of information on the local area and am always learning and adding more every day. The tour is operated by a 13 year old with assistance from mum. We offers a unique youthful perspective on the history of the town of Fort William. I will lead you through the entire High Street giving you a tale or two of what happened here in the past and how life looks here now. We stop at some of the iconic buildings and monuments and I have a story or two that is not so well known! Fort William has been a trend setter in its day and houses quite a few artefacts that can only be seen in 2 or 3 places in the whole of Britain! We can’t wait to share it all with you.

Itinerary

  • Bronze Ford Model T

    We have a great chat about how this chap and his car got up Ben Nevis. We will walk the length of the pedestrianised town centre, Ponting out historical details and sharing local stories. Concluding at the end of the West highland way, before visiting the old Fort and returning to the start position or a mutually agreed end point.

We were met by Nathanial and his mum and it was a really enjoyable morning. Easy walk around the high street, learning the history of Fort William. I would thoroughly recommend this tour. We were two older adults, but I think kids would enjoy it as well.
