Our tour begins promptly at 7:15 am and lasts for approximately one hour, giving you ample time to explore the ancient complex and its renowned funeral towers or Chullpas, which date back to both the pre-Inca and Inca cultures. Marvel at the intricate craftsmanship and impressive height of these towering structures, which reach up to an impressive 12 meters high. As you wander through the site, you'll also have the chance to take in the breathtaking beauty of the nearby Umayo lagoon, which only adds to the allure of this incredible destination.

We'll arrive at 10:00 am sharp. Here, we'll explore the historic church of Santiago Apostle, a magnificent national monument dating back to 1675. Discover the secrets of this fascinating building, which houses the renowned catacombs and a remarkable replica sculpture of Michelangelo's Pietà.

Pukara Archaeological Site

Our adventure continues as we make our way to the enchanting town of Pucará, arriving at approximately 12:00 pm. Here, we'll spend around an hour exploring the fascinating Lithic Museum and the impressive archaeological complex of Kalasaya, a significant ceremonial center of the Pucará culture. After our tour, we'll take a well-deserved break to enjoy a delicious boxed lunch, giving us the energy we need to continue on our journey.

Marvel at the impressive formations, which have been created through the erosive power of wind, hail, snow, and rain, resulting in a breathtaking landscape that is unlike anything you've ever seen before.
