Overview

Luxor or Waset as it was called in Ancient Egypt or even Thebes during the Greek Time is one of the world heritage sites that should be as a must to be visited. It is locating about 280 km southwest of Hurghada, Red Sea or around 4 hours drive. Such a day trip private is the best option for adults or couples. Itinerary

  • Hurghada (Pass By)

    You will be picked up by your charming Egypt tours representative from your hotel in Hurghada and drive to Luxor by air-conditioned deluxe vehicle to visit the famous Karnak Temple the largest place of worship that was ever built. Its ancient name Ipet-isut means “the most sacred of places.” The temple, or, more correctly, the complex of temples, was built more than two thousand years ago by generation after generation of pharaohs. Within the complex, the great “Hypostyle Hall” is an incredible forest of giant pillars. Then you will be visiting the West Bank of the river Nile to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon), and then you will visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs discovered, those tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs, you will visit 3 tombs. Later on you will visit the Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahary, this impressive temple dedicated to the Queen Hatshepsut the only female pharaoh rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces. Then you will have the chance to enjoy some Free time at leisure in Luxor for shopping at the originals papyrus institutes and perfume palaces and then you will be driven back to your hotel in Hurghada.

We had a wonderful trip, and can't thank our guide Said enough. He was very knowledgeable and looked after us very well all day. From start to finish he guided us through the day perfectly. Can't recommend him highly enough! Also a shout out to our wonderful driver Mohammed (I hope I have the spelling correct!) He was with us every step of the way, also very helpful and knowledgeable and was a great help throughout the day.

*My wife and I had an amazing experience in Luxor yesterday, as we had a great team behind all of it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *Firstly, Michael, our driver, came and picked us up with a clean and comfortable car, from the front hotel, early in the morning. He made all the long journey feel nice and smooth. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *Secondly, our guide, Said, welcomed us in Luxor and didn’t miss one thing to show and explain to us. He was really professional, patient (helping and waiting for us to take pictures everywhere) and a great energy. His English is very good and he’s also experienced and explains really well. *We were so impressed with the whole experience, the historical places and temples we visited, all sightseeings and the way people live their lives in Egypt. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *We highly recommend both Michael and Said to accompany your journey and make your visit even more meaningful.
