In October 2023, the Iguazú Falls were flooded by 15x and the Devil's Throat circuit was partially destroyed, currently the National Park staff is repairing it, according to offical announcemnt: 60% already completed as of April 2024, the circuit is closed for maintenance and will not be open for the next 4 months, Updated on mid April 2024, circuits opne for visitors: Upper, lower, ecological train and green trail. Devil's Throat is still visible from the Brazilian side and also from the Argentinean side at the Lower Circuit area by "Bela Vista" viewpoint. • Visit visas for citizens of Australia, Canada and United States visiting or staying at the Brazilian side of the falls, the following measure will come into effect ONLY in April 10th 2025, the decision was taken after consultations with these countries on the possibility of granting visa exemptions to Brazilian nationals, in compliance with the principle of reciprocity, it's available in an electronic format (E-visa).
