Overview
Enjoy a Swedish Fika and explore the biggest indoor market in Gothenburg where you will have a chance to explore groceries from all around the world. Visit two famous churches and walk through the square known as Götaplatsen, a very famous landmark where you will see the Poseidon statue by Carl Milles. You will see a building designed in Neo-Gothic architectural style which resembles a Church but is actually a fish market. Admire the work of the architect Gunnar Asplund who blended the old and new buildings of the Gothenburg Town hall.

Start your tour at the Gothenburg Town Hall which was originally built in the 17th century and extended in 1936 under the architect Gunnar Asplund. Here, you will see the Beaux-Arts style architecture of the building and most importantly how the architectural style blends the old and new buildings.

Walk by the fish market known as Feskekörka. It is also known as the Fish church due to the fact that the Neo-Gothic architectural style represents a church. The Building also features a fish and seafood restaurant. It dates back to 1874 and was designed by the architect Victor von Gegerfelt.
