Our guide, Mr. Asad, wow! Great conversationalist. My teenagers think he is so cool. His playlist is excellent; we were jamming to great music (afrobeats, pop, american and middle eastern hip hop - my kids had a ball!) to and from Abu Dhabi. Mr. Asad picked us up at 09:30 on the dot and dropped us off at the hotel at about 18:30/19:00. Our tour included a visit to the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Emirates Palace and spent the rest of the afternoon at Ferrari World. The advantage of doing this in August, despite the humidity, is no crowds or long queues. The disadvantage is that a few rides at Ferrari World, including the Formula Rossa, are not available (there are still enough rollercoasters/fast rides to keep one busy).
