You will walk 1 mile (1,5 km) through the Roman ruins such as Celsus Library, Temple of Hadrian, The Great Theater of Ephesus, latrines, terrace houses, marble streets and many more. Also can pray at the shrine of Virgin Mary, drink holly water and stick your wishes on its wall. You will avoid the crowds and extreme hot during the high season. Watching and taking photos of the amazing monuments such as the Senate of the city, Gate of Hercules, Trajan's Fountain, Temple of Hadrian, Library of Celsus, The Great Theater with 25000 people seating capacity and much more belonings of an ancient roman city.

    It is the highlight of Ephesus. Ancient houses with their own central heating systems, roman baths, latrines and amazing frecos, mosaics and graffitis. Worth seeing.

    This place is a holy place for the Christian World. Because it is believed Virgin Mary lived her last years here it is a pilgrimage area for the christians. Pope Paul VI, Jean Paul II and Benedict visited the house.

    One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. We stop here for a short information of the temple and panoramic view of the Selçuk Castle, St John's Church and Isa Bey Mosque. Where you can see three holy place of Pagans, Christians and Muslims together.

    In case necessary some free time in Selçuk town for lunch and see the local handcrafts around.

Memorable trip to Ephesus

The history of Ephesus always amazed me and this trip beside seeing what I know. The tour guide who took us there enriched my understanding of the history in that area. Hakan is knowledgeable and friendly. Also he is very attentive to details as I made a mistake during booking which I put the wrong hotel info. He is able to figure it out and left a message with the hotel staff where I actually staying to ensure I aware of the pick up time. He also plan the trip well to begin the trip thru a scenic route to let us see and experience the country side, while at Ephesus , he gave suggestion about when we have time to take photos so he can have dedicated time to show us the key archeological finding at the site beside enabling us to have time for photos and exploration of the site. I am grateful and happy to have him as our guide

The best ancient site ever seen. So big and much to see, ecperience. Especially the library and theater. Wont regret. Strongly advise. Better doing the tour with a guide. You must really be here !!!!

We had a great time. Ephesus is a must to do in Turkey. Such an amazing place. Although we do not know much about the history our guide hako did a great job and even the kids learned much about it and Turkey. An interesting and impressive country. We recommend %100
