With the big winter tyres you can float over the snowy landscape and the electric motor helps you to get strong legs when you pedal through the magical forest. And you don't need to worry if you are getting lost or not. Our professional guide takes care of you and your group. The route can be customised for your skills and needs. This is a winter biking tour made just for you and your wishes! We customise the route using the Saariselkä cycling paths and winter bike trails. If you can ride a bike, we can find a nice route suitable for you. A silent way to experience the arctic nature. Just the whistling of the wind, and happy laughters sometimes. We meet at Roll Outdoors shop. (Same building with restaurant Skárr.) You can arrive 15 min before the tour start.

Itinerary

    We start the ride from our shop in the middle of the village of Saariselkä. Before the ride, we go through the safety aspects, check the equipment and how the bikes work. Good preparing is the key to successful ride.

  • Urho Kekkonen National Park

    Riding to the gates of the Urho Kekkonen National park is quick on the public roads. Soon after the gate we head to to purpose made winter trails. Concentrate now, if you ride off the track, you'll dive deep in to the powdery snow! That's the moment of the best laughs :) Some of the trails run inside the National Park and part of the trails outside it's borders, but the beautiful nature is the same on both sides.

  • Saariselka

    Most of the time we keep on moving and enjoying the flow. But there is also good time to take photos and capture the best moment of your life time! After approx 1,5 hours of riding the best trails and the most beautiful places on the Earth we head back to village and end the ride to our shop.

    The tour ends to the same premises we left two hours before. To get all the lost calories back, there are many nice restaurants to choose after ride.
