Overview

On this 3-hour tour, you will visit the most renowned palaces of the Buenos Aires history and their particular stories. With its very different and unique styles, each corner of the palaces tell a whole new story of the view you are taking in and it will bring you back to that specific time. This tour is about all the neighborhoods of Argentina, but it is also one in itself.  The main theme is the "Belle Epoque" with its architecture, economic situation, and social reality combined with the role of the Argentina in the world at the time and the influence of the french aesthetics in Argentina's bourgeois during the time of the first and second World War and the process of the palaces building. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour!

This was a very interesting and informative tour! Learning about the history of the city through its architecture was a fun experience. The tour covered the architecture is a couple different areas, most within 10 minutes of the driving. Our tour guide and the driver were both very friendly, and the guide was very knowledgeable. She provided great information on the history and culture of the city. She also gave us great recommendations on what other things to see. Per her suggestion, we went and found a tour to La Recoleta Cemetery in the afternoon. The juxtaposition of seeing the grand buildings and the mausoleums in one day and and hearing about the stories of the people inhabited in these places was an unique memory from our trip!

Mariela was an amazing tour guide! We got to see major historical landmarks and she discussed architectural styles and famous architects, and contextualized everything within the historical development of Argentina and Buenos Aires. Xavier guided us expertly through the city in a beautiful van. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to better understand the city. I wish we had done this at the very beginning of our stay here!

Our guide, Julieta, was excellent. She is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Buenos Aires and Argentina. Her expertise added a huge dimension to viewing the buildings and touring the city.The tour gives one a good and interesting basis for a few of the city’s highlights.
