    was known under the name of "The Pergamum God of Health". Asclepius the deity health and medicine served the people for several hundred years; thus making Pergamum a medical center of very great importance. Famous medical Scholars, like Hippocrates and Galenus, were born in Pergamum and worked there

  • Pergamon Ancient City

    When John wrote his letter, Pergamum had been a capital city for almost four hundred years. After the mythical times, Pergamum had been the scene of several cultures, ranging from those of the Stone and Bronze Ages until the Archaic and Classical Periods. Among the temples, palaces and agora’s, the Asklepion, which were constructed in the course of one century, belonged to the big Zeus Altar and the Parchment Library. There you explore the impressive Acropolis, the actual ancient city and see the Altar of Zeus which is mentioned as the throne of Satan’, Temple of Trajan and the third biggest library of antiquity.

Great tour

Our guide, Gurkan, shared his knowledge about the history of these sights in a way that was both interesting and enjoyable. We finished up our tour eating Pide and Chai at a small restaurant. The vehicle we drove in was immaculate and quite comfortable. Very worthwhile.

The trip was just amazing! Our guide Gurkan, the car and the driver, the food, the attractions! Definitely recommend! I was actually worried cause nu never ordered before the trips from the local companies. But everything turned out just perfect. All was booked very fast and convenient and all was perfectly on time and reasonably priced! Thank you!

The tour was really good. Emre our Gide was very knowledgeable not only about these sights but also about how they related other sights we had seen on Turkey. His friendliness and sense of humour made the day really enjoyable. The transport was comfortable and our driver courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend this tour.

The tour was extremely enjoyable. Our Guide Emre had an excellent knowledge of not only the sights we saw but also how they related to other areas of Turkey. His manner and good humour made for a great day. We were picked up from the hotel on time and our driver was helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
