  • Parque El Poblado

    The tour starts from the park, the iconic site of the city where tourists will connect with each other, talk about their experiences and meet the guide who will accompany them throughout the tour, we will begin to climb the Antioquia mountains until we go to the first town of the that we will give a panoramic view and we will know from the voice of our guide a little of its history and its culture. .

    After passing through the longest tunnel in Latin America, we will arrive at the town of Marinilla (Agricultural Pantry of Medellin) there we will delight ourselves with some strawberries with cream typical of the sector, planted and harvested in local land and accompanied by a tasty handmade cream.

    We will learn about the history of Peñol, the agricultural capital of Antioquia, and we will taste a wonderful fruit produced, cultivated and marketed by the inhabitants of this wonderful city. there we will try a typical fruit of the area, a tree tomato mixed with panelita that makes it a unique dessert of the region

    At the end of our cruise we will arrive at one of the most beautiful natural monuments in Latin America, the imposing Piedra el Peñol, which with its 740 steps becomes a true adventure not only to appreciate but to climb and enjoy the wonderful 360-degree view that offers its viewpoint, located 220 meters high. To recharge energy we will enjoy a Freetime to take photos and enjoy this imposing natural paradise, the tourist will have the option of having lunch in the place of their choice and delighting in the typical dishes of the area. Note: The tour includes access to the park, but if you want to climb the stone you can do so by canceling extra value of: 6 USD. Lunch is not included in the price of the tour, to give you the facility to choose the menu of your choice.

So much fun!

It’s a long day, but it’s filled with so many large and small adventures. Everyone was so helpful and friendly both on and off the tour. Well done to Nohemi and Alex for keeping the Spanish and English speakers well informed, entertained and on time for 12 hours.

Amazing day. Great tour. We did the ATVs at Pablo Escobar’s estate and it was so fun. I climbed to the top of El Peñón, which was on my bucket list. Thank you Noemi and Alex for the wonderful experience

Okay i was a bit consern of i would like or not and it was a full 2 hours ride bit it was amazing Maicol and Horse(Caballo) was great we learn alot and injoy even the stone was a pain toke me 45 min up and down but i did it. For every question Maicol had the right answer great Guide and driver thanks for the Good job

Long Day But Worth It (and Great Price)

This is a great tour. Cesar was very personable and managed our expectations well. I kind of forgot what all we were doing bc I’d read so many trips. Ran a bit longer than I expected, so perhaps dont make any early evening plans. Bus ride was bumpy, but I’m certain that can’t be helped based on the destinations. The culinary treats were all lovely. The options for transport once on the Escobar property are 1 person, 2 person ATV (which we learned might not be that easy if the two people are not small), a 2 seat Can-Am (our choice, which was fun, but required a little nimbleness to climb in and out of) and 4- or 6-seat jeeps. Make friends quickly or budget accordingly. Walking was an option, as well. The site at El Peñol has lots of places to relax if you choose not to climb. One lesson learned: toilet seats are optional! (That’s everywhere.) Some items in this review reflect the fact that I’m not fit and also happened to have a minor injury, but I didn’t look into accommodations — I was fine. I’d say VERY good price for such a full day and food.

Very fun trip. We got to see some cute animals, visit various towns, nature, and historical property. Nomi was very sweet and funny. One thing I do wish for the future is if the guides can help us purchase souvenirs as some of us are unable to speak Spanish. Beautiful places and great hosts.
