Meeting points

Contact the dive centre ASAP to review your dive medical. If any "YES" answers require a doctor’s clearance, submit it before the course. eLearning (6-9 hours) will be emailed and must be completed before the 2-day course. Book 3 nights on Phi Phi and arrive 1 day early.

Itinerary

As soon as you book, reach out to us and we will send your PADI eLearning course and Open Water Videos. Study on your own schedule before you arrive so that the course only takes 2 days once you are here! You can check out in at our amazing classroom with stunning views of Loh Dalum Bay and the Andaman Sea. The following morning you will meet your instructor early, where you will learn the first skills of SCUBA diving in our infinity pool. After completing the relevant skills and theory you will complete 4 Open Water Dives over 2 days. On the dive days we depart from the pier after paying your National Park fees and drive 20-30 minutes to the Marine Park area of Phi Phi Leh and Bida Islands for your first dive. Expect to see amazing marine life, colourful corals and fish. There is a good chance to see sharks and turtles at our local dive sites. We enjoy zero waste lunch in between dives at a beautiful spot (Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon, Palong Bay or Viking Cave). Your second dive site we choose on the day, according to conditions and what you would like to see, then we return to the pier to log the dives.

OW, Junior Open Water and Bubble maker

We highly recommend Blue View Divers after our amazing experience on Phi Phi Island. During our stay, our 12-year-old and a friend completed their diving certifications with them, and we were thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and care shown throughout. Having completed the theory online before the trip, the process on-site was seamless, focusing on verifying their knowledge and completing the practical elements. Instructor Becca and dive master/guide Kitty were fantastic, offering guidance and support every step of the way. Our youngest, 9 years old, also got to try scuba diving through PADI’s “Bubblemaker” program in the pool. It was an incredible opportunity for him to get a safe and fun introduction to diving, and he absolutely loved it! We also joined for a day of diving in the ocean, with Kitty as our guide, and had an incredible experience. We felt safe, well looked after, and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the underwater world. Blue View Divers went above and beyond in so many ways. They helped us arrange transportation to and from Phi Phi, lent us snorkeling equipment to use during our free time, and were always available to answer any questions. A huge thanks to the entire team, and especially to Becca and Kitty, for making our time on Phi Phi truly unforgettable. We can’t wait to dive with you again in the future!

Just completed with my basic open water witg BVD. Booking process was fairly simple over mails and whatsapp. The team is well learned and experienced. Very lucky to have Becca as my instructor. She made sure the process of learning was fun as well as informative! Thank you again to the whole team and Becca for a great learning experience.

Beautiful first diving experience

I did my Open Water course at Blue View and I had a fantastic experience! I joined a small group of divers and Becca guided us through all the necessary learning steps to have a fun and safe dive. Alongside our training, we also had the chance to enjoy the beautiful seabeds around the island and admire the marine life of the region. I will definitely rely again on Blue View for my future dives in Koh Phi Phi.

Becca was amazing. She made the course so simple and the dive sites we went to were great. The structure was great in that we started a skill in the pool and when we were confident then we'd try it in an ocean dive around the neighboring islands. Couldn't have asked for a better first time.

Massive thank you to Becca who supported me to get my PADI open water cert. I didn't realise how terrified I would be until I got in the water but Becca kept me calm and helped me enjoy the experience as well as seeing some amazing fish and Coral. Everyone I meant was so supportive , learning in the pool was great as a nervous adult and the food on the boat was great. I couldn't have wished for a better team to learn with. It helps that Phi Phi and the diving is beautiful! Thank you Becca !!
