I’ve been sea kayaking before, but Everyday California truly took it to the next level with their guided tour. Tori and McKenna were fantastic guides—keeping us safe, engaged, and informed throughout the experience.
The tour offered a fascinating look at the local ecology, and we were lucky enough to spot dolphins, swimming and sunning sea lions, leopard sharks, a stingray, as well as various birds and small fish. The guides also shared intriguing stories about the history of the cliffs, making the whole experience both fun and educational.
The balance of kayaking, exploring, and learning was just right, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced kayakers. Kayaks are available for solo or tandem use.
If you plan to bring your phone or camera, be sure to bring a waterproof bag. Otherwise, you’ll need to rent a locker or leave it in your car. Wetsuits are available for rent, but we opted not to wear them as we were in Lululemon gear. Be prepared to get wet, though!
While there are no showers at the shop, there is a cold beach shower available if you want to rinse off afterward.
Overall, it was a great tour and an excellent value for the price. Highly recommend!
