Overview

This incredible experience will start and end at the same location and has FREE parking. I am an expert guide and amatuer photographer. I will guide you into the most spectacular and hard to reach areas where others have never even heard about! We will descend into an incredible slot canyon with opportunities for one of a kind photos and breathtaking views of the sparkling Pacific Ocean. We will hike the sands of a secluded beach until we reach the mouth of our canyon where we will climb a short rope into a majestic and beautiful green Grotto with a waterfall. We will visit amazing sandstone slot canyons and wind caves on our trek. The hike up is strenuous at times but you will be rewarded with a 20 million dollar view as we summit magnificent cliffs. The experience will leave you with memories and pictures that will last a lifetime!

Meeting points

Take Torrey Pines Scenic Drive until it flows into a large dirt parking lot. Once in the dirt lot go left towards the ocean. There is a blue/white building on the northwest side. We will meet at my car across from the port-o-pots. Keep your eye on your text or emails for updates

I can also add custom times for your group if you like.....just ask! It is not uncommon for groups to request Sunrise tours or full moon tours. I am happy to oblige!

Stunning views and landscape

A beautiful and moderate hike. The views are spectacular and the guides are wonderful. The total distance is less than 3 miles but there will be some scrambling over rocks and going through narrow passageways. I highly recommend wearing grippy shoes/boots as some parts could be somewhat slippery.

We did this hike with Granger and Krystal. It was amazing! The views were spectacular and when it was challenging they were both super encouraging. Loved everything about it. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience!! The hike was a unique experience and unlike any other hike I have ever done. We could not have done it, or known where to go, without the guidance of Granger. Krystal, his partner, took amazing photos of the amazing scenery and of us throughout the journey. Everyone from 19 years to 60 years old loved the hike despite some challenges along the way. I highly recommend it if you are visiting La Jolla.
