Overview

Embark on an unparalleled Northern Lights experience in Reykjavík with Harpa yacht tour. Unwind in the cozy interior, sip a drink from the onboard bar & café, and stay warm with provided blankets. As we cruise along Reykjavik's coastline, we seek the enchanting Northern Lights, often passing by the Imagine Peace light tower. Our dedicated crew strives for the best sightings, and if elusive, join us again for free. Our main vessel, Harpa (max 35 passengers), ensures an intimate setting, while Amelia Rose (max 98 passengers) may be used on special occasions, both boasting ample amenities.

White out! Don’t worry! Beautiful display!

Great Experience! Started with dinner at Old Harbor. It was snowing like crazy when we left the dock. The woman leading the trip, told us not to be concerned. The weather changes by the minute. Well it did. It cleared around 10pm and we got a beautiful show.

We were able to 'see' the Northern Lights after we had taken a picture of them. The crew was very helpful letting us know what camera settings to use as well as when the lights would be visible.

After the weather calling off this on our first day and the forecast being pretty iffy for the rest our stay, we weren't optimistic that we'd actually get to see the Northern Lights. However, the trip went ahead one evening and the guide said he thought we might be lucky. After an hour on the boat we started the think the vague hint of green might be as good as it was getting and the boat began to turn for home. Suddenly the boat stopped turning and we were told to go to the front and we had a great showing! Really appreciated the crew holding on for us to see the lights in their glory. Wrap up warm as it gets chilly (although it is warm inside the boat and there is a bar serving hot and cold drinks!). Another bucket list activity ticked off!

Great experience, great tour! We got to see the northern lights (which helps!) skies were clear and our tour guide/narrator was fun and helpful. Boat was comfortable and all in all a great experience I would recommend.
