  • Stagno di Santa gilla (Pass By)

    While watching the landscape around the lagoon of Santa Gilla, you are going to admire the famous pink flamingos.

  • Spiaggia di Nora

    We are going to take a walk into this beautiful beach surrounded by the lagoon of Nora and by the ancient ruins of the city.

  • Area Archeologica di Nora

    Nora was first Nuragic, Phoenician, then Punic and finally Roman, as shown by its marvelous ruins. Just north of the excavations are the beach and the lagoon, at the base of the peninsula we find the ancient Churchof Sant'Efisio, glorious martyr, dating back to the eleventh century AD. At the end of the headland rises the spanish Tower of Coltellazzo

    You are going to admire the ancient small church of the christian martyr Saint Ephis and you are going to learn about the history and the long tradition of the celebration that last more than 300 years.

Highly recommended visit to Nora

Our guide Claudia gave us an excellent sense of the layers of civilisation at Nora. She speaks perfect English and has a great personality and sense of humour. She answered every question raised clearly. The site is extensive but there was no sense of rush and we got to take in every part. We left with a great appreciation of the importance of Nora. As an added bonus, Claudia gave us some food and restaurant recommendations on the journey back to Cagliari. Super trip, super guide.

Claudia and Barbara were such great tour guides. They were super communicative and it was easy to meet them at the designated spot. Claudia had a ton of knowledge about the history of Nora and Sardinia in general. They both gave us great recs for the rest of our trip here. I would highly recommend this tour!
