  • Swaminarayan Akshardham

    Start your journey with the hotel pick-up in a private cab at your desired time. Drive to the Akshardham temple where architects have achieved the zenith of carving to induce life in every piece of stone. Take a post-visit to the Akshardham Temple to see the Exhibition Section comprised of 3 parts. The first is Sahajanand Darshan: Hall of Values - Experience timeless messages of Hindu culture presented in this exhibition. It contains a series of exhibits, each one giving a fresh experience, a new message and a novel presentation. These exhibits portray values like non‐violence, perseverance, prayers, morality, and family harmony using different multimedia technologies like audio‐animatronic figures, immersive projections and 3‐D dioramas. The second is Neelkanth Darshan: Large Format Film - At Akshardham’s giant screen theater, visitors become engrossed in Neelkanth Yatra. Here, on a screen 85 feet wide and 65 feet tall, the audience follows a young Neelkanth Varni on an epic trek across the Indian subcontinent. From the icy peaks in the northern Himalayas to the warm beaches of southern India, follow Neelkanth as he traverses 12,000 kilometers across the length and breadth of India. Be reminded of the value of sacrifice and service, the wisdom of the eternal soul, and the power of faith. Lastly, the Sanskruti Darshan: Cultural Boat Ride - Board a boat and sail through thousands of years of ancient Indian history. Experience the lifestyle of the Vedic era. Pass through the oldest university and watch an eye surgery happening more than a thousand years ago. This 12-minute boat ride presents some of India’s important contributions to the world.

A must see Tour if you get the chance

There’s no “Tech” allowed, such as phones, smart watches or even air pods, for example, so it’s something to bear in mind before entry. (My guide and driver took care of these, so had absolutely no issues or waiting) My guide Neha was amazing, really brings you at ease and is really knowledgeable about the temple, and Delhi as a whole. She made the experience so comfortable (Thank you) not forgetting our driver who was just as courteous and friendly. I was in safe hands, with knowledge and professional friendly people…. What more would I want. Made my experience all the worth while.

Excellent late day tour

Akshardham is a beautiful new temple commemorating the life of Bagwhan Swaminarayan. The buildings and campus are beautiful. I particularly liked the boat ride with dioramas summarizing important individuals in Indian history and civilization. It was fun to see all of the Indian families enjoying time together. The light show was nice but not a must in my view. My guide, Deepak, was kind and attentive and as a single woman I felt very safe.

This is a unique experience.No mobiles,no cameras no tech allowed.You have to be there to see it.Fantastic time from start to finish,including boat ride and water/light show at the end.Jerry our guide was superb,young knowledgeable and kept us informed at every point along the journey.If your visiting Delhi this is a must for everyone,young and old,families and friends.Big tip leave your tech behind,security is strict,if you bring mobiles be prepared for long wait to deposit/collect after show,could be 1 hour in queue.Thanks Jerry for a great night out.

If you plan to check out Akshardham Temple then this tour is great. Our guide Jatin Solanki did an amazing job of explaining the exhibitions at the temple and we were able to look at the all attractions including the amazing lights and water show in the end. Pick up and drop off was smooth as well. Very well conducted tour!
