Overview

The quad tour of four hours contains beautiful views of the entire Zadar archipelago and the Zadar hinterland. We climb to 1100 m above sea level with a few breaks for photography. Driving over the most beautiful mountain road in Croatia, Majstorska cesta, we pass by the church of St. Francis dating from 1832. Also, we pass the locations where films about the Indian chief Winnetou were made. Continuing the ride, we can see windmills up close, after which we arrive at the viewpoint of the canyon of the river Zrmanja, then we return mostly on macadam. The whole ride is led by our guide who points out the beauties and curiosities of our region at every stop.

    Here we will meet the guide and start riding quad up to the mountain.

  • Velebit Nature Park

    Velebit is the largest, though not the highest, mountain range in Croatia.

    This is our highest view point (1100 meters above sea level). From this place we can see all three Croatian seas, Zadar hinterland and archipelago (National park Kornati, Dugi otok, Pašman, Ugljan).

    Tulove grede is a strange karst phenomenon on Velebit. It is located in Park of nature Velebit and it is about 1km long with highest peak of 1120 meters above sea level. On this spot was filmed Winnetou.

    Majstorska cesta (State road D547) is a state road in Croatia and was the first modern road in Croatia and still is the most Beautifull Mountain road in Croatia.

    Zrmanja canyon is one of the most beautiful view point in Croatia. On this spot was filmed Winnetou.

    Here we will finish riding quads.

Do you want a fun activity and at the same time experience the places you are traveling to? This is what you should choose! We are a couple who rode together with another group. I had a wonderful experience and met new people. We have been well taken care of by those who organize this. Can definitely be recommended!

This experience is worth every penny and a lot more. Transfer from Zadar to the start point & back was seamless and the host was really friendly. We had so much fun on the tour itself and both guides were really knowledgeable. Could not recommend this enough!

Had an amazing experience, the staff is so kind, the view points are magical and the drive was so cool and challenging! When visiting Zadar, this activity is a must! If you like to drive fast, slow down a bit now and then to create a big gap and go for it!

Great time, beautiful scenery and Luka was a fantastic guide - made everyone feel very safe and has a ton of knowledge. Also, equipment was very well maintained.

Great adventure experience with first hand information about history

We were taking the 6,5h tour. There is a 2h tour as well which will cost 15€ less but it was worth it to pay a little more and get three times the time and experience. After being picked up and driven 45min to the quad destination it was a warm welcome. We were advised with the vehicles and the condition of the vehicles was very good. You defenetly should get sunscreen and clothes than can get dirty. I started with a white shirt that was brown in the end by all the dust. Also bring sandwitches or salads and lots of water because the sun will be coming down on you and the warm exhaust of the quads will do the rest. It was a great trip we were shown a lot about the area, if you wanted you can join the guide to give first hand experience about the recent history which I found very interesting. Would defenetely do it again.
