Overview

Experience the magic of Phnom Penh as it comes to life! We believe the best time to explore the local markets is in the morning, and we'd love for you to join! We'll pick you up and take you to our favorite local market, where you'll be treated to a guided tour and your first scrumptious breakfast. We'll introduce you to local snacks and educate you on the often under-represented food culture of Cambodia. After breakfast, we'll forage through the streets in search of the Kingdom's finest hidden murals, and street art on a curated tour. We'll visit over 40 different murals around the city and our guides will help you understand the cultural significance of the murals and how they express social commentary. We'll stop curbside for breakfast #2 with the local university crowd, then our final stop - a surprise. The tour is perfect for everyone, whether you're a foodie or an art enthusiast. Everything is included and we can cater to most special diets or allergies - just let us know!

Awesome tour of Phnom Penh street art and food!

Take this tour to see gorgeous street art, eat amazing food, and get to know a bit about Phnom Penh! Jackson walked us through a bustling local market to see all the fresh fruits, veggies, fish, and meats, and our first breakfast stop: Bánh Sung caramelized pork and coffee, followed by some donuts. Delicious! Then we were off to see amazing art in streets and alleys that we would not have found on our own, with Jackson helping us understand the story behind the art. After all this art, it was time for second breakfast of bay sach chruk, very tasty pork and rice. Listen to Jackson when he advises you to show up to the tour hungry—you’ll be eating so much delicious food! Mr Van did an awesome job driving us through the city. In fact, I wanted to see some specific sites later in the afternoon, and was happy that Mr Van agreed to drive me in his remork. I highly recommend this fun, informative and very filling tour! Almost forgot: I really appreciated Jackson’s messages before the tour ensuring that I knew when and where we’d meet, and especially liked that he included a short video so I could easily recognize him. Thanks Jackson and Mr Van!

I had a lovely day with Jamie who shared his great knowledge about cooking Khmer food and the influence of history into the streetart of Phnom Penh. Very interesting, funny and the food was amazing. I can fully recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in learning new things and has an open mind to enjoy different sides of cambodian culture.

Jackson was such an informed and passionate guide on the breakfast and street art tour. Not only did we have two amazing traditional street food breakfasts and see a morning market, but the street art was a unique and a very interesting side of current Cambodian dialogue.
