Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve

This excursion lasts about 2.5 hours in a really well maintained trails where your guide will accompany you throughout the tour, providing you with an unprecedented insight into the importance of the ecosystem and introducing you to the many fascinating species that call it home. Our guided tours will take you through the forest's many winding trails, revealing the astonishing beauty of this natural wonder. You will be able to observe and photograph a wide variety of flora and fauna, including some birds, like Resplendent Quetzal, emerald Toucanet, Black-face Solitare and coppery-head Emerald. In the Cloud Forest there is allots of amazing butterflies like blue-Morpho butterflies, Owl Butterflies and the unique Glass-wing Butterflies, there over 500 different species of wild orchids and much more to see in this tropical forest
