Overview

It is undoubtedly the most popular place for snorkeling in Zanzibar and a must-do during your stay here. It is often called The Tropical Fish Capital since the place is well known for its large variety of different types of fish. Stingrays, Lionfish, Frogfish, Leaf fish and Zebrafish are just five of the over 350 different species that have been recorded around Mnemba Island. Mnemba island is one of the best and popular spots in Zanzibar for its beautiful and colorful marine life to your eyes before even you dip your head, it’s a right place for having a premium snorkeling due to the presence of plenty of fish like frogfish, barracuda and napoleon fish and hard and soft coral reefs. Mnemba island is very popular as dolphin destination in Zanzibar especially bottle nosed dolphins though it’s not guaranteed however can be spotted most of the days. If it’s low tide you can have a good time at the sandbank surrounded with very crystal clear waters.

Mr Africa and team are the best in town! The team was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They also gave us a free and amazeballs Swahili crash course. Highly wrecommend them to anyone who wants to experience a jolly good time in Zanzibar.

It was such a beautiful and amazing experience. Zanzibar is truly a paradise on earth with breathtaking beaches and very welcoming and kind citizens. In addition to that food is super cheap and delicious. I would rate the overall experience 10/10. We got to do all the planned activities smoothly thanks to our competent and sympathetic guider from Mr. Africa Zanzibar Guide. If you are in need of a guide in Zanzibar, he is your go to guy.

This trip did not disappoint and is for me the trip of a lifetime. It was wonderful!! And the organization was excellent!! One thing for sure coming to Zanzibar you definitely need a tourist guide and Mr Africa made it for me and my friend an unforgettable experience! Everything was so well planned, from the airport transport to the hotel and each day had it activities, with photographs, drone .. etc And he was so attentive to our needs at the smallest details. We had an amazing time. Our tour guide team was just awesome, they took us to the best spots and made sure we had a full experience of each activity. Loved swimming with the dolphins, and exploring the beach. Would highly recommend this excursion and Mr Africa Tours and Safari.
