Overview

This cruise is the best way to explore the inaccessible West part of the island in comfort and style! Swim in secluded beaches, visit the cave of Sykia, and explore the majestic Kleftiko. The itinerary is designed so that you can avoid crowds and enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Milos to the maximum. The cruise is made aboard a Lagoon catamaran, 41 feet long, very spacious, and comfortable for the maximum group of 12 people on the cruise. It features a large trampoline net, deck cushions, and large shaded areas, a JBL Boom box with Bluetooth connection and WiFi onboard. The cruise is all-inclusive, with food, drinks, and snacks throughout the day. Everything is of excellent quality. Snorkeling gear and floating devices are available for an enjoyable swim. Boat comes also equipped with a Paddle-board for your use. The only things you need to bring are your towels, sunscreen, and good mood :)

Itinerary

  • Klima (Pass By)

    Klima was the first Capital of Milos and where the statue of Venus de Milo was discovered. While you take beautiful photos of the colourful fishing village, you can also learn some historical facts about the island, as a part of our guided tour.

  • Cape Vani (Pass By)

    As part of the guided tour of the bay of Adamas, we will pass the 19th-century iron and manganese mine. We will have the chance to take lovely photos as our multi-lingual guide will be telling us the story of this spectacular area. Weather permitting sometimes we take a quick swim here.

  • Kalogries Beach

    This is our first swim stop and lasts about 30minutes. We will swim and snorkel and have a light brunch.

  • Sikia Beach

    Our stop in Sikia lasts about 2 hours. We anchor in the protected bay to the south of the cave and we will have a first swim with masks and flippers provided. Then we will enter the cave of Sykia with our dinghy and explore the area. When we get back to the boat, delicious homemade snacks are going to be waiting for us accompanied by the traditional ouzo and fresh drinks.

  • Kleftiko Beach

    We will get the chance to swim with snorkelling gear provided by us, use our dinghy to visit Kleftiko caves and take photos, both above but also underwater, and finally we will have freshly cooked lunch and drinks

    Before getting back we will make one final swim stop in the bay of Agios Dimitrios, a tranquil spot, inaccessible by car, which offers an amazing view of Plaka and Tripiti and all the colourful villages across the bay.

Milos catamaran sailing in October

Fantastic catamaran cruising in the Aegean in the second week of October. Warm waters and warmer hospitality. The Polco crew made the experience. An absolute highlight of our visit to Milos. It’s worthwhile to make this experience your first full day on Milos - so you get an appreciation of the geography, terrain and the different beach locations. And the crew were full of helpful advice for the rest of the visit.

Best tour of Milos by Boat

This sailing tour was one of our best days on Milos. Angelo and Zoe work so well together - information, humor, hospitality, camaraderie - they make the boat seem like a tour of lifelong friends, not 20 strangers. We did the tour that offered more time to enjoy the various stops, and it was well worth it. Each was beautiful, the water in September at its warmest, the color and the clarity of the sea breathtaking. The caves and rocky coastlines awe inspiring. The catamaran was roomy, and the lunch provided very filling and delicious. Drinks as well. Fabulous crew, fabulous tour, unsure how it could have been better.

Kleftiko catamaran cruise with Aggelo and Zoe

Aggelo and Zoe were incredible! We snorkeled, paddle boarded, and took a dinghy boat through the caves. Zoe prepared a delicious lunch for us and they both made sure we were satisfied with drinks throughout the entire day. Aggelo and Zoe were both so knowledgeable and friendly. They made us feel safe with the windy conditions/swells. We had the best day ever with them and can’t recommend them enough!

The only coastline cruise to take!!

This is definitely the best one! The catamaran gives you so much room to move around, Aangelo and Zoe were amazing, very knowledgeable of the area and culture and super friendly! The caves they take you into are a once in a lifetime experience. Lunch was generous and amazing, served with beer and wine. Doesn’t get any better!!!
