If you're visiting Milan, the Last Supper (L'Ultima Cena) by Leonardo da Vinci is a must-see. The sublime work of the Italian genius, is now preserved in the monumental Unesco heritage complex at Basilica Santa Maria delle Grazie. It is one of the most studied and imitated masterpieces in the world, but it is also one of the most mysterious and discussed paintings from the Italian Renaissance. Join us on this guided tour to discover history and secrets that lie behind the Last Supper painting and the beautiful Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie. You'll have the opportunity to catch all the Da Vinci "souls' motions" hidden in his canvas, from his brushstrokes to the represented characters. A perfect painting,  a strong emotional storytelling...

  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • It is mandatory to bring a passport or identity card with you to show at the ticket office
  • Watch out! Enter all names correctly as the ticket is nominal and verified with ID. Once the name is entered, no changes can be made.
  • It will not be possible to access the Santa Maria delle Grazie church during religious functions or when the church is closed
  • Clothing suitable for a place of worship. No skirts that are too short or t-shirts that are too low-cut
  • It is forbidden to take photos with a flash and videos
  • For provisions to safeguard the painting, all visitors have 15 minutes available inside the refectory to see the Last Supper
  • We emphasize that this is a guided tour which includes tickets for the Last Supper. The entrance to the museum (where the painting is located) will be included in the hour and a half of the visit and may not be immediately at the beginning.
  • It is forbidden to bring bags of all sizes, food and drink. The guide will accompany participants to the lockers where they can store their personal belongings. Suitcases may not have a suitable place to store them.

Very glad that we pre-booked. The tour guide was well informed, professional and pleasant. It was amazing to see the Last Supper by Da Vinci, in real life. Well worth the wait (we had the last booking of the day). I would recommend to anyone who wishes to visit the Last Supper to pre-book, as the queue's can become long, if not impossible.

I did not book early enough before my visit to Milan to see the Last Supper and so did a google search and found this tour company. It was excellent and I am now so pleased that I did this rather than see the painting on my own. The guide helped with the admin of getting in as well as giving us a really interesting talk about the painting, the location and history. Definitely worth the money and I highly recommend.
