Overview

The Middleton Place tour is an all-inclusive tour experience of one of Charleston's most beloved historic sites. Chicora Tours prides itself on being the only tour operator in Charleston to offer this tour. Our Middleton Place tour has smaller groups sizes, transportation in a luxurious Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van with licensed tour guides to answer your questions. The tour begins with a guided tour of the Middleton Place gardens. It is proceeded by a historic house tour and then a delicious and authentic Lowcountry lunch in the Middleton Place restuarant. Guests will also have time to see the wildlife on site, learn about the enslaved people of Middleton Place and shop at the Museum shop and Garden Market. Please meet us at the Bus Shed Terminal side of the Charleston Visitors Center at 375 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29401. The Bus Shed Terminal is located right outside the Charleston Visitors gift shop and where all the tour busses are parked.

All staff at the Middleton place were great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. We would recommend this opportunity to see the Middleton Place to anyone.

Our driver was very friendly and accommodating. The plantation was a very interesting and beautiful place. The tour guides gave us great information that wouldn’t otherwise been known. Also, the food in the restaurant was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Amazing tour and a prefect day excursion near Charleston we just Love it. And I highly recommend adding the cart tour . And lunch in Restaurant was lovely also .
