Meeting points

Between Koutoubia parking and the Koutoubia Mosque the old ruins, I will meet you there to start our tour as most of the Medina is not accessible for cars please consider this is a walking tour. If you require transportation, transfers I can arrange for extra costs to be paid locally.

  • Koutoubia Mosque

    We will start our tour from here by visiting this site from outside only we will talk about the Koutoubia Mosque and its history

  • Bab Agnaou

    We will stand front of the Bab Agnaou Gate talk about it, take some photos and continue our tour

    10 minutes

  • Herboristerie Bab Agnaou

    Ali and his team expects you to introduce you to the secrets of various herbs, tinctures and coloured powders, as well as their effects on your health. An extensive tour gives you the Opportunity to get an impression and get to know and to try out the ingrédients of various tinctures and their effects. Choose you "medicine" and take it home. Do not forget your loved ones at home who will be happy about every well-intentioned souvenir with health-promoting effects.

  • Saadian Tombs

    Located next to the mosque of the Kasbah, the Saadian tombs are one of the only remains of the Saadian dynasty that reigned over the golden age of Marrakech between 1524 to 1659. We will visit the three main including the main one which belongs to the kings of this dynasty.

    We will continue our tour across the jewish area and discover this part of the city with its houses and architectures….

  • Bahia Palace

    We will visit the palace of Bahia (palace of the beautiful, the brilliant) is a nineteenth century palace of eight hectares located in Marrakech medina. It is one of the masterpieces of Moroccan architecture, one of the major monuments of the country’s cultural heritage and one of the main places of tourism in Morocco.

Family fun at the souk

We had a great time touring the souk with El Hassan. He introduced us to lots of different crafts and made it super engaging for our children too. Thank you!

Fantastic Food Tour

A fantastic tour at the start of our trip. Hassan took us around local food stops, sharing local knowledge and great advice to navigate around the city. Well worth it and make sure to arrive on an empty stomach! Hassan was kind, patient and very knowledgable.

I took the foodie tour with Hassen, which was a lot of fun. We met at Le Tanjia and then worked our way through pastry shops and local street food. Hassen was very knowledgeable about the city, the neighborhoods and Morocco’s history. He was flexible and helpful when I wanted to stray from the original program and look at art galleries instead. He is a very patient and polite tour guide and didn’t push me to go to the local vendors, instead tried to follow my interests. I highly recommend his tours.
