The sunset tour of Hoi An was amazing! We first started at a little shop outside of Marble Mountain. Great place to look around at the local marble carvings and use the restroom before crossing the road to Marble Mountain. Once there we were afforded the opportunity to climb the stairs (moderate level agility required) or to use the elevator (separate fee from the tour). I chose to climb and the views were beautiful. There were different areas of the mountain we explored and for those not wanting to climb higher they were afforded the option to meet at the bottom. Inside the mountain were caves with different Buddhaās and historical significance. Once we finished at Marble Mountain we made our way to Hoi An. We arrived before sunset and it was stunning. We explored a historic Chinese Temple before being given approximately 2 hours to explore the area on our own. This was nice as there was so much to take photos of. We then met back up as a group and had traditional Vietnamese cuisine for dinner. After completing dinner we made our way back to Da Nang. I never felt rushed during any portion of the tour and the sites were breathtaking. Our tour guide Chau made the tour especially special as she was funny, kind, knowledgeable and considerate of all the tourists in her group. She took care with each group member and communicated very clearly and understandable. Thank you Chau for everything!
