In Kona our visitors have the rare treat to experience a Manta Night Snorkel. The occurrence of an accumulation of plankton off of the shoreline makes for an incredible Night Manta Snorkel show that you get to be a part of. Like all of our tours we treat the Manta Night Snorkel with respect by not disturbing these gentle giants in their habitat. We abide by the established Manta Ray Tour Operators Guidelines. It is a privilege for us to take you on this trip and we do not take it for granted. The experience of seeing these massive gentle creatures in the wild is exhilarating. Such an awesome trip! They are so cool to see, we've never seen anything like them before! The boat was beautiful and the crew was awesome. Friendly and professional, and they taught us a lot about the area and the sea life. I highly recommend this it was a huge highlight of our trip to Hawaii!

Had a great trip with these guys! Boat was well setup, crew and captain did a great job explaining the process and making sure things went well for us. The manta rays did their part and showed up. Ten out of ten, if I was back in Hawaii I would call these guys up for another trip!

Amazing Must-do on big island

We had an amazing time seeing Manta Rays with Captain Dan and the whole Manta adventures crew. Everyone made sure that we had a great time. There’s wetsuits to keep you warm in the water, and the crew had various ginger products for anyone prone to seasickness. The real show started after the sun set. When the crew gets you safely into the water one at a time, and the lights are turned on to make the plankton fluoresce. Multiple 14 foot manta rays repeatedly did somersaults just inches from us while others were gliding below. Not a minute went by where there wasn’t at least 1 manta ray in direct view. The crew come into the water too to make sure everyone is safe and has a good experience, and you can ask to come out of the water anytime. This is a must-do on Big Island!

Incredible night of Manta Ray viewing and a boat trip!

What a night out! So lucky to have been able to go on this trip. The captain and crew were excellent - thank you Captain Dan. The Manta Rays were incredible to see in person and they came so close to us. Being able to see nature at your fingertips was something I will never forget. I’d recommend this to anyone visiting The Big Island! Thank you again Manta Adventures!!
