Itinerary

Experience the beauty and majesty of Lim Bay (Limski kanal) on our expert-led outrigger canoe tour. Lim Bay is a special marine reserve and also very well-known for its fish and oyster farms. The bay is almost 13 kilometres long, surrounded by breathtaking cliffs covered in lush greenery. This stunning natural wonder is nestled between Rovinj and Vrsar on the west coast of Istria. This half-day tour offers an unforgettable adventure for families, couples, and anyone seeking a unique Adriatic experience. Our outrigger canoes are renowned for their stability and smooth rides, and no prior experience is necessary. Get up close and personal with marine life, while learning about the history of Lim Bay and its local myths and mysterious caves, including the legendary Romuald's Cave. We'll paddle to famous Pirate's Cave Bar, take a break there and enjoy the stunning view of the bay. We will swimm at a wild solitude beach. We could encounter dolphins while paddling. At the end of the tour you will enjoy Istrian delicacies (oysters, prosciutto, cheese, truffles, olive oil, wine, homemade bread) in the restaurant Fjord (optional, with surcharge).

Great canoe tour with sunset swimming in full nature

We did book this trip since we love it to be on the water as a family. With 5 of us we did have a great time on the afternoon sail. good boat, good guide showing us the nice places and really taking the time to make sure we did have a great experience. The stop over in the return, to swim at the fishing shed was really appreciated to swim with sunset and a cold beer.

Perfect way to spend a few hours

Excellent good value kayak trip. Beautiful view, peaceful, great opportunity for a private swim. Our guides were knowledgeable, fab and friendly, we had some great chats and laughs with them both. Nice snacks and beers in a fabulous location.

Canoe ride limski kanal

I recently went kayaking in Limski Kanal in Istria, and it was amazing! The scenery is absolutely gorgeous with green hills all around and super clear water. Paddling through the calm water was so peaceful, a perfect break from everyday stress. The guides were really nice and shared cool facts about the area. We even saw some fish and other sea creatures. It didn’t matter that I’m not an experienced kayaker – it was easy to enjoy. If you love nature and a bit of adventure, you’ve got to try this. Highly recommend!

Lim Channel Canoe Adventure

Rowing the Lim Channel in Hawaiian canoes was the best way for us to experience its natural beauty. We enjoyed a 3-hour trip with a beautiful view, a swim and a drink at the Pirate bar with an amazing view of the bay and a snack break provided by our guide.Just perfect! I highly recommend this to everyone.

Amazing canoe adventure in nature :)

Tom took me and my husband out on the canoe in Lim Fjord and it was so much fun! It’s definitely the best way to see the Limski Canal as you are totally immersed in nature and right on the water! You get a much more intimate experience than a large tour boat. You can also channel your inner Moana ;) We explored the pirates cave bar and also the oyster farm where we had a wonderful swim and Tom packed a delicious lunch of local delicacies. I have zero experience in canoeing and even I found it super easy. Special thanks to Tom for accommodating us on one of the last bookings of the summer. We have wonderful memories and would recommend it 100%. We will be back for sure!
