Learn to surf at Lorne on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. The sheltered safe beaches of this charming small coastal town make for a great place to learn to surf. The conditions at Lorne are ideal for beginners and you'll learn to surf in waist deep water with fully qualified surf instructors who are also surf life savers. Soft beginner surf board and wetsuit are included.

My 11 yr old had a lesson with Izzy. She loved the lesson and I noticed that Izzy took time to support her and help her to catch some waves. It was a wonderful experience and Izzy was a wonderful teacher. Well worth the cost and will do it again.

Yea was an epic surf lesson. Matt our instructor was very informative and professional, also funny. His partner (we forget her name) was also very knowledgeable and helpful. I stood up on the first wave I caught. Highly recommend :)

Awesome surfing lessons on well maintained gears at beautiful Lorne. Matt was awesome with our 9 years old today and generally super helpful (thanks so much!) as was our other instructor. Highly recommended.

I had an excellent session with Joel. He was very chilled and gave great suggestions. Just the right amount of instruction to refine my surfing. Managed to catch some bigger waves thanks to Joel’s encouragement. Would highly recommend.

We had a 3 person private surf lesson with Owen. We had an amazing time, his coaching was perfectly tailored to our level and was very helpful and easy to understand, so we all improved by the end of the lesson. Owen even went above and beyond to capture some great GoPro footage of us. Great value for money, as we paid less than we have for a large group lesson elsewhere in Australia. Would highly recommend.
