A group of 4 of us joined a Lunch class at Lanta Thai cooking school. We had a lovely day - we were greeted with a drink and a cook book which we got to take away. We chose 4 different recipes as a class to make. The cooking teacher was brilliant, shows you how to do everything and explains everything thoroughly. Great to have all of your meat / tofu pre-cut, and for each recipe to be tailored to your liking. For example, some of our group took veggies or prawns instead of meat, and one didn't use any coriander. Would thoroughly recommend, especially as it's super easy with pick up and drop off!

Such a fun day! And our Khao Soi that we made ourselves was some of the best we’ve eaten. We can as a family of five with three kids ages 9, 12, and 15. We registered the 12 and 15 as “adults” to cook 4 dishes at 1500 B and the 9 year old to cook 2 dishes as a “child” at 750B. They were really thoughtful of their pairing with other families - we saw a couples group, a family with small children on their own and we were paired with a nice family with teens too. We made khoa soi, pad thai, Panang curry, and a coconut with colorful mochi ball dessert. The cooking experience was great too. The teacher was committed to traditional thai techniques. She was so knowledgeable to answer the many questions I had. The curry pastes were done from scratch with us. The mochi balls were so fun for the kids. We each had our own wok and cutting boards. They even showed me the pandan growing in the garden and the blue pea flowers. A memorable experience! I can’t wait to try to reproduce some of this cooking at home. The pad thai I made here was 10x better than the sticky mess I used to make.

First, don't eat before you go. You eat what you make. We are stuffed with delicious made from scratch goodness! Sam, the teacher is excellent. Nice breeze for evening class. Do this one!

Great experience to learn how to cook Thai food. 4 dishes in total. Good teachers. Good value for money. Highly recommended

Such an amazing experience. The gave us a lot of information and went through everything step by step. Would definitely recommend in you’re in Koh Lanta!
