Overview

Divers must have a certification for this trip. Divers without certification must book Discover Scuba Diving Koh Tao is an island just north of Koh Samui and is an excellent choice for the variety of dive sites there. From shallow, rocky sites to huge pinnacles, and a wide array of hard and soft corals, not to mention an abundance of marine life, there really is something for everyone. Your day will start with us picking you up at your hotel approximately 7:00 am. We will take you to the pier where you can enjoy some light breakfast and coffee/tea and meet Discovery Divers Team. The boat will leave the pier at 8:00 am. It takes approximately 80 minutes to reach Koh Tao by speedboat. Upon completion of the second dive the boat will return to Koh Samui, and you will be back at your resort around 3:30 pm.

Pickup details

Due to the different hotel locations on the island, please advise the dive centre by email the name of your hotel. The dive centre will then reply to you with the appropriate pick up time for the morning of your dive trip. If we do not receive this email then ... we are not able to pick you up on the morning of the dive trip. Transfers from the north and east of the island are free. Transfers from the south and southwest part of the island we need to charge 500THB each way Pick up transfers. Kindly note that hotel transfers are included in the rates apart from hotels/villas located on the South West side of the island to the North West side of the island, for this area there is an additional transfer fee of 800 thb round trip Read more ▼

Itinerary

Discovery Dive Centre

Koh Tao is an excellent choice for beginners and experienced divers alike. There are about 12 different dive sites that we generally visit and which dive sites we do on a particular day will depend on the prevailing weather and dive conditions. Among dive sites available are Chumphon Pinnacle, Mango Bay, Shark Island, Twin Rocks, Japanese Gardens, as well as others. Generally we depart from our pier about 8:50 and return to the pier about 16:00. This tour is available for certified divers, and snorkelers also. All trips are taken our own Discovery Divers speedboats and include all equipment.

I had a great experience in the Koh Tao dives. We did two boat dives. There was people from all certification levels from master divers and experienced divers to novices to first time divers. Everyone had a great time and the dives were all safe. We saw an amazing amount of fish, coral, and a ray! Padi certified location. I also got to rent an underwater camera and took a bunch of photos. They have many options for photo opps from a camera rental to a private photographer. We had a great lunch on the boat and soft drinks and water were provided throughout the trip.

Amazing dives! The instructors were super friendly, helpful, and fun. Everything was taken care of and under control and no doubt they knew what they were doing! Lunch was good and it was overall a great experience! Thank you to my wonderful instructer Man!

I originally came here for a discovery dive last year. After I was certified, I found myself in Koh samui and it was a no-brainer to go back here. The instructors and guides are very knowledgeable, experienced, and fun! The boat crew are super helpful. Lunch was delicious. And also they have a speedboat, which allows you to get where you're going faster! Great place. You won't be disappointed.
