    While you’re in port in Key West, hop on the Conch Tour Train for a trip around the southernmost island in the archipelago that is one of America’s finest jewels. The train will take you on a ride through Key West’s past – go back to the days before civilization, when fierce Native Americans left their enemy's bones to bleach in a tropical wilderness, naming the island Bone Key. Hear about bold Spanish explorers, brave “wreckers,” great cigar barons and sponge magnets. Get to know characters like John James Audubon, Ernest Hemingway and Harry S Truman and, like them, become captivated by Key West’s magic. Please note: This excursion is located within a 10-minute walk to the cruise port so you determine the time you return to your ship in Key West. Please allow yourself ample time to enjoy the excursion and ensure your timely return to the port. This excursion is not covered by our Worry-free policy.

Conch Train

The tour was very enjoyable all employees extremely nice and helpful but the tour company dropped the ball they did not make reservations. Their QR code did not work. The new policy for the conch train is you have to have reservations.

Our guide was amazing, he was a navy kid and knew so much about what happened back in the 60’s with the Cuban misled crisis. Not only that, he was knowledgeable about all the families that settled here and their impact on the island. So glad e did this first to get the lay of the land!

We rode this train 1st in the morning, our first full day in KW! It is a train ride, not the trolley, with 3 stops you can get off an on all day. We got on at the 2nd stop and rode it to Mallory Square. Spent the afternoon exploring Mallory Swuare and the Harbor area. Then got back on and rode back to where we started later in the afternoon. We highly recommend this tour. We had Karl and Patrick, both of whom were informative and entertaining. We learned so much about KW. Thank you for a great tour
