Overview

It allows you to explore Ribeira do Cavalo beach and the surrounding area. It allows you to kayak into two small caves and pass through tunnels and narrow passages between rocks. It allows you to stop in some coves and observe the coast. It allows you to take a route through the Arrábida Natural Park. Note: The availability of this tour depends on other reservations, on the same date and time.

Itinerary

Guided kayak tour along the Arrábida coast. Discover the Arrábida Natural Park and Ribeira do Cavalo beach, full of calm and crystal clear waters, by kayak. Pass through tunnels, coves, rocks and small secret caves only accessible by sea Use of Ocean Kayak sit-on-top kayaks, including seats, life jackets and waterproof bags to protect your belongings. Try toasted flour, a typical sweet from Sesimbra, once used by fishermen while fishing Stop at Ribeira do Cavalo beach to relax and go for a swim (for those who wish). Guided tour with several (reduced) stops along the way. On this tour, participants will pass by Cove da Mula, where they will be able to observe the stratification of the soil, composed essentially of limestone. You will pass through 2 tunnels and enter 2 small caves (in favourable sea conditions), one of which has a hole in the ceiling which eliminates the bottom on sunny days. You will stop for up to 45 minutes at Ribeira Cavalo beach.

This was an exceptional trip, which I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. The coastline is very beautiful. The caves, beaches and rocks are awesome. The guide was absolutely first class- what a brilliant guy. We have been inspired to do more sea kayaking in future at home.

This tour by kayak was fantastic! We went as a family and we had a brilliant guide. We saw a stunning and beautiful coast with very interesting geology. We entered a very interesting cave and went through great rock arches. We had a great stop on the lovely beach and time for a swim. The tour is excellent value for money and the guide and equipment are first class. I would highly recommend this.
