Overview

Explore an otherwise inaccessible part of Kangaroo Island on a guided ATV tour through open grassland, native bush and rocky terrain. Master the controls of your own bike as your group zooms past gorgeous scenery, and Australian wildlife such as kangaroos, koalas and more. If you are looking for something extra special, our 2 hour & 50 min Edge of the Earth Tour will put you through your paces on some challenging terrain, rewarding you with stunning views of the Southern Ocean. Whether you take the introductory option or the more challenging tracks, your expert guide ensures a safe, fun ride for all levels of experience (even kids are allowed to participate).

    The most exciting way to experience Kangaroo Island's unique wildlife and scenery! Ride your own quad bike (ATV) or go as a passenger in a buggy (UTV) cruising through a wide variety of terrain. Your experienced Guide will give you the instructions you need to ride safely over rocks, around sandy corners and more, dependant on your abilities. As well as give you plenty of information on the wildlife you encounter along the way. All participants are fitted out with safety gear and instructed on the safe operation of a quad bike. Tours are tailored to be suitable for beginners and /or experienced riders. With different tours available, whether you are a young family trying quad biking for the first time, you want to see lots of wildlife, or you want a more extreme adventure and epic views, there is an option to suit you!

  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Minimum age for passengers is 4 years, for drivers is 6 years
  • Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants
  • Children 17 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 year or over.
  • We are located in Vivonne Bay, which is approximately a 90-minute drive from the Penneshaw ferry terminal, but unfortunately, we do not provide a shuttle service nor are there taxis/ubers on the island.

I was greeted by my instructor who was extremely kind, encouraging and informative. I was given my kit and caught how to use the bikes. We then went on the tour around the beautiful island, saw Kangaroos and he told me information about the island.

We had SO much fun!! My 7 year old son got his own quad bike to ride and Juan was so good at instructing him; he's now obsessed with quad bikes and wishes we could go back every weekend. We will definitely be back next time we are on KI!

Amazing activity for the whole family. Jordan was very thorough with the safety gear and training. We had small kids in our group and Jordan was very patient in giving all of us training on ATVs. The ride also had an educational component to it when we stopped at few stops discussing local flora and fauna. Over all we enjoyed this outstanding activity.
