Amazing five star tour of Istanbul with Tanju

Our private time with Tanju B. was amazing. He picked us up from our cruise ship terminal in a private Mercedes minivan and took us where we wanted to go. He had us skipping lines because he ‘knew a guy’ and took us to all his favourite haunts. His English was impeccable and his jokes hilarious and his knowledge of his city was immense. We would totally recommend Tanju again and hope to be back to Istanbul someday to share a Turkish coffee with him.

Erdem the tour guide was very good at timing of visit to various locations, and avoided the long line of tourists and tour groups. Being a private tour, he catered to our speed and needs, and adjusted on the fly very well. Overall, an excellent tour of the highlights of Istanbul.

Furkan was fantastic! We loved our tour. This private tour was very flexible. We got to plan want we wanted to see and quickly adjust to avoid long lines during certain times of the day. Furkan was very informative and made the trip so much better with all of his knowledge. We highly recommend.

Excellent Private Guide for Istanbul

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour & our guide, Erdem, was great. We wld highly recommend. We were two people. A few notes: 1. Tour is primarily on foot with public tram RT used to get to the Hagia area. This is not a tour where you will have a driver or car. Tour guide did pay for Tram which I think was abt 4 Euro RT. 2. Tour does not included any entrance fees which are fairly high Hagia Sophia 25 Euro Topkapi Palace 1700 Turkish Lire ( USD 50 ea) Basilica Cistern 950 Turkish Lire ( USD 27.50 eq) 3. As you are essentially hiring a tour guide not sure why charged by person. Whether its one person or three, same time for guide.
