    This central square is named after Simón Bolívar, the liberator of South America. It features a statue of Bolívar and a unique fountain with four faces. Historically, it's the heart of the city, surrounded by important buildings like the Banco de la República and the Customs House.

Lu was the perfect guide of the historic center of Santa Marta! It was so nice to tour the town feeling the breeze while riding bikes to the parks and out to the beach while hearing her give background and history speeches! Her knowledge and sassy attitude had us laughing and curious the whole time!
