Discover the Costa Rica Rainforest from above. The Arenal Volcano Hanging Bridges hike offers an amazing view of the rainforest. This easy and self guided hike is wonderful for nature lovers of all ages. Along the trails inside this private natural reserve of nearly 250 hectares of Tropical Rainforest, you might encounter leaf-cuter ants, wild boars, vipers, tarantulas, poisonous dart frogs, toucans, monkeys and sloths and other Costa Rica Wildlife.

    Enjoy a tour through the magnificent tropical Rainforest in Místico Park and its energizing trails full of nature and wildlife. Walk across the hanging bridges and behold a majestic 18-meter-high (60 ft) waterfall from a comfortable trail, with a non-slip surface and no steps, and experience this one-of-a-kind adventure.

The park far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend. Lots of various wildlife. We even heard howler monkeys. They sounded close by but vegetation was so thick we were unable to spot them. Definitely a highlight of our trip

The top highlight of our Costa Rica trip

This was the best part of our visit to the area around La Fortuna / Arenal. We arrived at 7am and it was quiet and uncrowded with great parking. Saw many monkeys. Loved the bridges, the views, and the amazing nature around us. When we left about two hours later, the parking lot / reception area was much busier, but not crazy, although the close parking lot was full. This was a Friday morning. Highly recommend. No guide needed.

A great walk in the canopy of the jungle. Overlooks the volcano and crosses deep ravines. Shady and breezy so perfect temperature. A nice way to spend a couple of hours outside in nature.

Very worthwhile hike on a marvelous path through the rainforest.

Wow was that fun and a beautiful hike to boot. Tons of flora and thanks to our guide some fauna as well. On that note José was wonderful. Jovial and full of energy he gave us excellent info and lovely photos to share amongst the five of us!
