Great Experience!

It was such a fun experience! Our tour guide Simon did a great job at showing us the filming locations while showcasing the Harry Potter facts and history of the area in a fun and engaging way. I would definitely reccomend this experience for someone who is looking to get out of the city and visit some local villages. Lacock felt like a village stuck in time, such a beautiful place!

It was such a fun experience! Our tour guide Simon did a great job at showing us the filming locations while showcasing the Harry Potter facts and history of the area in a fun and engaging way. I would definitely reccomend this experience for someone who is looking to get out of the city and visit some local villages. Lacock felt like a village stuck in time, such a beautiful place!

A great experience not just for Potter fans

Simon was our guide on this tour which was apparently quite new at the time. He was a pleasure to listen to and was very well prepared with photos and videos from the Harry Potter films to show as comparison with the beautiful locations that we visited. He also made sure to include many historic details that were insightful not only to Potterheads, helping us learn bits and pieces of old English history along the way. The tour itself was comfortable and fairly well organised. Our only issue with it was that there was not enough personal time for us in order to take enough photos and then to have lunch. With many other visitors of Lacock and Gloucester getting in our way, taking good pictures was a slow process, and we ran out of time and had to rely on eating sandwiches. Perhaps adding an extra hour to the total tour time would have helped. We still had a good experience in the end though, thank you!
